Three hand-picked firms have been invited to design and install a Room Set for NoVacancy 2019. Blending their own individual strengths, with a no-limits criteria on design, tantalise your senses with these breathtaking installations, and explore the beauty, creativity and selection that has gone in to each. While you’re there, speak to the designers responsible for their creations and appreciate the creative talent that has been undertaken.

Firm: Designing Spaces Places
Designer: Liliana Madigan
For nearly 20 years, Designing Spaces Places has been involved in the full design and fitout of hotels, motels, resorts and boutique accommodation. Boasting a client list including Bayshore Villas (Byron bay) and Crown Plaza (Surfers Paradise), Spaces Places is known for delivering creative, quality installations.
Firm: Beazley Group Design + Fitout

The Beazley Group is a specialist in design, refurbishment and fitout for the hospitality accommodation market. From major city hotels and mixed-use apartments, to rural accommodation motels and boutique establishments, Beazley works with their clients on every detail of the project, from design through to completion.
Firm: CHADA
Designer: Shekhina Genish-Grant
For over thirty years, CHADA has become the number one in interior architecture specialising in the hotel and leisure industries. From casinos and resorts, to country clubs and spas, CHADA is luxury design.
For further learning, drop by the Design Talks Seminar Room where a representative of each firm will be presenting on their designs, and talking about the thinking, inspiration and selection of products that went in to each.

A visit to NoVacancy will only be complete if you include a stop at the Room Design Invitational – located in the top left area of the event floor (look out for the signage). Occupying three sites of 36 square metres, each firm has been granted creative freedom to design their Room Sets, without limitation. The three participating firms are known for being innovative design leaders in their own fields, by utilising their own individual talents, they will be showcasing Room Sets reflective of their most creative and admired work.
