Amanda is a passionate sustainability advocate leading The Star Entertainment Group’s sustainability strategy and performance towards The Star’s vision of becoming Australia’s leading integrated resort operator.
As Group Head of Sustainability, Amanda has embedded sustainability across The Star’s operations, led the company to achieving an industry leading position in sustainability performance reporting, set a net-zero 2030 carbon reduction target and pathway and has achieved a leading position on climate related disclosures.
Amanda is a Chartered Environmentalist with the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, a Green Star Accredited Professional, holds a Masters of Sustainable Practice and is the sitting Chair of the City of Sydney’s Sustainable Destination Partnership supporting sustainability outcomes for tourism, entertainment and accommodation sector partners towards a Sustainable Sydney 2030.
In 2019, Amanda was recognised with the National Association of Women in Construction’s Contribution to Sustainability award and also a finalist for Architecture and Design Magazine’s Women in Sustainability award.
