Biography

Craig is Managing Director for Xn protel Systems Australian and New Zealand operations as well as Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing for Asia/Pacific. A hotel tech career spanning some 30 years, he has lived and worked across the globe, including USA, EMEA, UK and Asia/Pacific, having worked with and consulted to many international hotels and chains. Craig has been at the forefront of the changing landscape of hotel technology, ranging from PMS and POS to Spa and CRM, and more recently business intelligence and data analytics, harnessing the power of deep data visualization.

His early career working in hotels, with a background in finance, and former Financial Controller for Accor and Mirvac hotel groups, he later joined Micros-Fidelio (now Oracle Hospitality) focusing on PMS and food & beverage systems, then founded iHost Hospitality, specializing in digital marketing and Spa/Wellness tech for hotels & resorts (later sold to Xn protel Systems), and has been at Xn protel Systems for the past 9 years, specialising in PMS, POS, Spa and BI solutions.

Craig is passionate about bringing guests and hotel operations closer together digitally, by not only leveraging newer technologies, but by making them simpler and more intuitive to use. He is also driven by ensuring that hotel tech providers deliver ready-made and highly functional cloud-integrations that are 1-click to connect by the hotelier and eliminate vendor bottlenecks (an app store for hoteliers). Technology and consumers are evolving constantly. Hotel tech must change with it.
