Senior Director, Strategy, Sales & Marketing, Choice Hotels Asia-Pac
Kari is the Senior Director of Strategy, Sales and Marketing for Choice Hotels Asia- Pac, and focuses on growing existing and developing new revenue streams for Choice Hotels franchisee network, the largest hotel franchisor in this region with more than 270 hotels.
With over 17 years’ experience in the accommodation, tourism and leisure industries, Kari is passionate about regional tourism and has had many senior roles including General Manager, Marketing for the Belgravia Health and Leisure Group (across 4 verticals, 8 brands and 160+ facilities), and the role of General Manager – Marketing, Strategy and Sales at BIG4 Holiday Parks for almost ten years, which included a six-month term as Acting CEO.
Kari holds a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Tourism Marketing from Monash University, is a guest presenter for the Masters of Tourism Marketing program at Monash University and is currently on the AAOA’s Victorian State Advisory Committee.
