Biography

Krishna Chua is the Cluster IT Manager for Marriott International in Sydney Cluster.

Krishna received her degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2007 whilst in the Philippines and upon graduating she was employed as a Test Development Engineer at Panasonic in 2008.

Krishna started her hospitality career in 2008 in the Maldives with the One & Only Resorts, Kerzner International group before relocating to the United Arab Emirates in 2014 to accept an IT Manager position at Zaya Nurai Hotel Resort, Jumeirah Group. In 2015 Krishna then returned to the Maldives as an IT Manager at the stunning Kurumba Maldives Resort.

Krishna joins the Sydney iT Cluster from Samoa where she was the Complex iT Manager overseeing the two Sheraton properties. She was instrumental in managing the integration projects across both hotels as well as numerous taskforce assignments assisting other ANZP hotels.

Krishna Chua has been awarded as the Integration Champion in 2018 and IT Field Associate of the Year award in 2020.

Krishna believes that the incremental change is the key to a global restructuring if we will, so no small shift unnoticed when it comes to sustainable.
