Biography

Melinda Lampier, General Manager, Pullman Sydney Hyde Park oversees the operation and performance of this 5-star luxury hotel, situated opposite the iconic Hyde Park and featuring 241 guest rooms and a variety of conference and event space.

She is an experienced hospitality executive having spent more than 27 years in Asia- Pacific. Prior to this, Melinda was General Manager of Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park.

Melinda spent 15 years in Asia including the opening of Hotel Indigo Bangkok (IHG), Hotel Manager and InterContinental Bangkok and Area Director of Sales & Marketing, IHG Thailand, overseeing the Sales & Marketing of 8 city-based hotels.

Born in Sydney, Australia – Melinda started her hotel career with ITT Sheraton in Sydney and spent 14 years with Starwood before joining IHG in 2010. She has worked in various leading hotels in China, Vietnam and Thailand before her return to Australia 3 years ago.
