Oliver Ruf is a results-oriented executive with nearly 20 years of experience in revenue management, pricing and distribution strategy.
Oliver has held leadership roles with Hyatt and has been a member of Hyatt International’s Council of Experts for Revenue Management since 2010. As Director of Revenue Management at Park Hyatt Sydney, he has consistently grown revenue streams, contributing to the success and positioning of the award-winning hotel as a preferred luxury hotel in Australia.
In his current tenure, Park Hyatt Sydney is recognized as one of the highest performing hotels within Hyatt Hotels & Resorts globally in RevPar & Market share terms. He is instrumental in developing and measuring revenue strategies that will maximize sustained revenue growth. This includes identifying future demand periods and employing pricing strategies to enhance the hotels revenue streams.
As a self-motivated, detail-oriented and proactive Senior Manager, Oliver‘s strengths lie in successfully navigating and overcoming the various challenges businesses face, learning and developing from every peak or downturn in the demand cycle, before applying this to all aspects of the business. Oliver is known for his curious nature and “thinking outside the box” mindset, where he has applied leading and creative ideas, concepts and data modelling from other industries to provide unique insights and strategies that ultimately grow revenue and improve efficiencies in distribution.
