Biography

Co-founder of Sydney based EcoLinen Pty Ltd specialising in Organic and eco-friendly textiles for Hotels, Resorts and Spas throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia, and on-line retail.     

Tim has spent 35 years sourcing bed and bath textiles ex China, Pakistan and India initially for the retail industry. Later acting as a mill agent and wholesaler to the Hospitality Industry. 

While travelling through Pakistan and India in the 90’s, Tim became aware of the impacts of textiles on the health of the mill workers and risks to customers alike- launching EcoLinen Organic in 2003 – the first Australian company to certified to the Global Organic Textile standard (GOTS). 

In 2014 he formed a supply partnership with Emirates Wolgan Valley in their quest to find the highest quality low environmental impact hotel textiles. This relationship has now entered its 7th year.

The quest to improve product involved working closely with Emirates chosen laundry partner to refine product for improved laundry performance and sustainability. 

In 2018 he partnered with a boutique financing company to provide resorts with very affordable and options to deliver sustainable luxury guest experiences – off balance sheet

His customer base now also includes many of Luxury Lodges of Australia and selected Spicers Resorts nationally
