Brenton Smith is a Director of Bates Smart’s interior design studio, with over 25 years of local and international experience across luxury hotel, residential and premium workplace design. This cross-sector expertise allows him to design vibrant and diverse spaces that respond to brand and place.

Brenton’s portfolio as Hotel Specialist has been widely recognised in award winning projects such as Pier One Hotel, Canberra Airport Hotel and more recently the Little National Hotel, in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. Brenton brings each project’s architecture to the scale of the spaces inside, crafting projects that are known for relaxed elegance, a luxurious use of materials and clear functionality.
