How do I register?
Registration for NoVacancy 2024 is not open yet, however to be kept up to date you can pre-register here for NoVacancy 2024.

How much does it cost to attend?
Admission to NoVacancy is open to qualified attendees who include professionals in a position to specify, purchase or influence the purchasing decision. Register before 18th September 2024 and receive a complimentary ticket to NoVacancy (includes two-day access to the expo and complimentary attendance to the educational seminars).

How will I receive my ticket?
Your NoVacancy ticket will be emailed to you. Please bring this to the welcome desk to collect your name badge for entry, open from 9:00am. Alternatively, you can scan the e-ticket included in your registration confirmation email, at one of the fast track stations located at the Registration counter.

What time does registration open?
The registration counter opens from 9:00am.

Will I need to bring identification with me?
Yes. Proof of industry involvement may be requested at the registration counters or the entrance.
You may be required to present necessary trade credentials (listed below).
• Business Registration Certificate
• ABN registration form/certificate
• ABN printed on a company letterhead or business card
• Letter on company letterhead confirming your employment by the owner/director
• Business Card

Do I need to pre-register for seminars?
No. Although while we will endeavour to provide ample seating, popular sessions will fill early and seating is allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We pride ourselves on putting the leading voices in hotel and hospitality on stage. We’re always looking to collaborate with more thought-leaders to create engaging content for our attendees. I’m interested in attending in a media capacity – are media passes available?
Media passes for NoVacancy are available to editorial staff employed by a B2B trade or consumer publication or mainstream media outlets (newspaper, radio, TV). Freelance writers, contributing editors, photographers, and industry bloggers can also request a media pass if the event is being covered for a specific publication or topic-related article.

Media passes are NOT available to advertising, marketing or PR professionals.

I’m interested in a media pass, who do I contact?
To request a media pass, please an email to marketing@novacancy.com.au. Additional details may be requested to verify journalistic activity. All media passes are issued at the management’s discretion.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
There are over 43 hotels, from budget to luxury, within a ten minute walk of ICC Sydney, including a luxury headquarters (circa) 600 room hotel adjacent to ICC Sydney. For a full list of accommodation in and around the Darling Harbour precinct please visit the official ICC Sydney website.

How far is the ICC Sydney Exhibition Centre from Sydney Airport?
ICC Sydney Exhibition Centre is 8km from Sydney Airport, with an average drive time of around 25-minutes.

How do I arrange ground transportation?
Located in the heart of Darling Harbour, ICC Sydney is easily accessible by train, bus, light rail, coach and foot with only a 10-minute walk from Central and Town Hall train stations. Secure parking is available and conveniently located within Darling Harbour precinct. For a full list of transport options, please visit the ICC Sydney website.

Where can I park at ICC Sydney?
ICC Sydney has two car parks located within the venue. There are a number of secure car parks located in and around Darling Harbour – the closest is located at Harbourside Car Park, 100 Murray Street, Pyrmont.

Do I need a Visa for Australia?
Most visitors will require a visa to enter Australia. Please contact your local travel agent or Consulate well in advance to arrange your visa requirements and ensure your passport is valid for at least six months after the date of arrival in Australia. Can you provide me with an invitation letter to apply for a visitor visa?
It is not our company policy to provide invitation letters to visitors wishing to attend our shows. For more information on applying for a visa, visit the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship website.

Can I bring my children?
As a business event, NoVacancy is not recommended for children and students under the age of 16. Babies and toddlers (aged 0-2) are permitted if they are in a pram or carrying device at all times. This applies to the children of both visitors and exhibitors. Under no circumstances are any children permitted into the exhibition halls during ‘move in’ and ‘move out’ of the show.

Are there child-minding facilities?
No. If you are travelling interstate or overseas, we suggest you organise a babysitter through your hotel.

What is the dress code?
Business or smart casual attire. Appropriate footwear is required (no thongs please).

Does NoVacancy have any night events or parties?
Yes, we will announce details on these in the near future. Additionally, if you’d like to host one, please contact Matt Gatfield at mgatfield@nationalmedia.com.au.
