Biography

Jeff has Degrees in Law and Politics from the Queensland University of Technology and a postgraduate Degree in International Relations from the University of Queensland.

Jeff practiced as a Barrister for many years in various state and federal jurisdictions before transitioning to the energy sector in 2011.

Since that time, Jeff has held several senior roles in both multi-national and state-based energy infrastructure companies in various jurisdictions throughout Australia, including heading Government, Stakeholder Relations, Policy, Regulatory and Sustainability portfolios.

Jeff has extensive experience engaging with key external stakeholders, including all levels of government and industry; providing high-level advice on political and policy issues; and devising risk management strategies in relation to climate change, technology & innovation, and sustainability.

Jeff has also participated on a number of government and industry committees helping to shape strategic thinking on national policy direction and regulatory reform in response to market pressures, including climate change and new technologies.
